Terms and conditions

We sell the oud oil, oud wood, Indian essences and musk shown in the shop. These are natural products: the colour, scent and consistency of an oil can vary slightly from one batch to the next, and this is a sign of authenticity rather than a fault. Photographs are indicative; the bottle you receive may differ a little in appearance.

Sizes are stated in tola and its fractions: a tola is twelve millilitres of oil, or twelve grams of wood. Oud oil is for external use on the skin and clothing only.

All prices are shown in Omani Rial and include any applicable taxes. The delivery fee, if any, is shown separately before you pay: delivery within the Sultanate is OMR 2.000. The fee depends on the delivery method you choose when you order, including delivery to the GCC countries.

Ordering on the site is closed for now, so no card is charged on this site and you are never asked for a card number here. You order by message on WhatsApp or Instagram, and we agree with you then how and when you pay. Your order is confirmed when we confirm it to you.

Discount codes: only one code can be used per order. A code applies to the products and within the dates the house sets for it, may be limited to a number of orders, and cannot be exchanged for cash. The discount is shown in the order summary before you pay, and the amount you pay is the one shown there. If an order with a discount is refunded, the refund is the amount you actually paid.

We confirm your order to you by message, naming what you ordered and its total, and that confirmation is your proof of purchase.

If an item turns out to be unavailable after you paid, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund of that item. We may cancel an order and refund it in full where we suspect fraud or where we cannot deliver to the address given.

We deliver to every governorate of the Sultanate of Oman and to the GCC countries. Orders are usually handed to the courier within one business day and arrive within 1 to 3 days inside the Sultanate and within 5 to 7 days in the GCC countries, a little longer for remote wilayats and the islands; these are estimates, not guarantees. We call the number on the order to confirm the delivery time, so please give a number that you answer.

If the courier cannot reach you or the address is wrong, we will contact you to arrange a second attempt.

Oud oil, oud wood and musk are personal-care products. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept the return of a product once its seal has been broken or it has been opened or used.

If a product arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of receiving it, on WhatsApp or Instagram, with a photo of the item and the packaging. We will replace it or refund its value, whichever you prefer, and we cover the return cost. A refund is returned the same way you paid.

You agree to use the site lawfully and to give accurate details when ordering. The texts, photographs, logo and design of the site belong to Oud Alsabei and may not be copied or used without written permission.

We may change the products, prices and these terms at any time; the version shown on the site when you order is the one that applies to that order.

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by events outside our control, such as courier disruptions or weather. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law gives you as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any dispute that we cannot settle amicably will be brought before the competent courts of the Sultanate of Oman.
